I came across this restaurant by chance — I was walking around the city and got so hungry that I couldn’t make it to another place I had in mind, so I decided to stop here. What an AMAZING discovery! I had the padrón peppers (pictured) and the picanha steak. The starter was incredible — the combination of flavours and the freshness of the ingredients were so good I could hardly believe it. The steak was also incredibly juicy and flavourful, served with a portion of crispy fries. Everything was simply perfect. In total, including two coffees, water, a starter, and a main course, it came to just €40, which is incredibly reasonable considering the quality of the food, the location, and the service!
I’d also like to highlight the excellent service from Helena, who was my waitress — very attentive, friendly, and efficient. She completely turned my morning around after the disappointing experience I’d had trying to have breakfast at a vegan café earlier that day.
I highly recommend this place — a must-visit if you’re in Lisbon! A huge thank you to the entire team. You truly make a difference without charging a fortune for it. Thank you.
